ABN AMRO has a long tradition of involvement in the arts. We believe in the capacity of fine art to inspire not only ourselves, but our clients and visitors as well. Our corporate collections help to promote the bank's general strategy of social responsibility and involvement in cultural development. Through art, we also strengthen our ties with the communities in which we operate.

The bank is a partner of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and also sponsors an exhibition room in the National Gallery in London. The ABN AMRO hall in the National Gallery exhibits works by leading 17th century painters such as Frans Hals, and is visited by over five million people a year.
